Orange

I had my first paper for the second semester today; and in about a week's time, I'll be done and over with my first year. The weather is not so bad lately. The one thing that bothers me is that there are these small pesky little green insects that flutters about literally everywhere. They are so fragile in the air that you can actually kill them by walking into them. Pretty much similar to a roadkill in the air. They just get stuck onto your hair, face, glasses etc.

Being occupied by my pre-examinations revision, I was more than happy to give them the honour to my friends who volunteered to cook dinner. Lately, my dinner "kakis" have increased in numbers dramatically. Staring with two people, dinners at my place will now have at least 7 people. My dining room will be filled and there will always be the need to bring down chairs from the upper floor to accommodate the number of people dining. While we were all busy in the day with our own schedules, there is always room to talk about what happened today over the dining table.

Today, it was my turn to clear off the trash. When I was out in the backyard, I took a good look at my current residence. Soft orange lights from the energy saving light bulbs (that costed a pound for three) lit up the details of the cement pavement, while the distant chattering, clanking of cutleries and the noise of running tap water seeped through the door and diffracted out into the quiet night. The scenario was pleasantly familar.

It feels like I'm living in a big family out here.

While the things in my room are still arranged in the most artistic manner, I realised it really defines the type of life that I'm living right now.

I'm glad that I chose UK over New Zealand :P

P.S: Nightclub city is addictive :(

but I thought nz was pretty much just cows and sheeps.. so i came to UK instead..

not to mention that a degree here would be more recognized compared to one in nz for the same amount of money spent...
